SHEPHERD PEPPERS

RED SHEPHERD PEPPERS 

Similar to our bell peppers, shepherd peppers mature from green to red and are available in late August or the beginning of September. These peppers are perfect for preserving so you can enjoy our local produce all winter long. These beautiful long-shaped peppers are extremely high in Vitamin C and are a perfect addition to any summer dish.

Available in 1 1/9 Bushel Cartons, 25lb Cartons, Open Top

SEASON 

Late August to Mid October 

WE ENSURE uniform long peppers that are sweet and juicy while maintaining their bright red colour and smooth skin. 

TO STORE, cover, refrigerate unwashed for up to a week.

TO PREPARE, rinse and remove stem, seeds, and pith. Prepare accordingly.
